Green Tea Dried Leaf Extract (Camellia sinesis) (500mg – standardized to contain 95% EGCG), hypromellose (capsule), magnesium stearate (lubricant).
ECGC causes the body to rapidly produce noradrenaline. Noradrenaline gives us energy and helps us stay alert. Taking about 400-500mg of ECGC per day can help with weight loss and more importantly fat burning. This is why it is a widely used supplement for fitness purposes.
How it works: We talked briefly about the antioxidant found in green tea – catechins. The most abundant of these catechins is Epigallocatechin gallate or more commonly referred to as EGCG. This catechin is notorious for amping up the bodies’ energy supply, amongst other things.
As a dietary supplement, take one capsule two times per day before meals or as recommended by a health care practitioner.
There are no major side effects when it comes to green tea extract. If too much is taken
(1200mg +), you may have gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, diarrhea or constipation.
Consult a doctor before taking this supplement if you have a serious health condition.
