Pure Green Coffee Bean Extract

Most people know that coffee is a great appetite suppressant. It is also touted as a great antioxidant. However, when we roast and brew these coffee beans in high temperatures, we take away an important compound called chlorogenic acid. This compound is a very powerful antioxidant, which is found in high concentrations in raw (green) coffee beans.

Features and Benefits

• Helps with weight loss
• Can help with high blood pressure

  • Ingredients:

Pure decaffeinated coffee bean extract (500mg – 55% chlorogenic acid), vegetable capsule (hypromellose), magnesium stearate (plant-based, as lubricant)

    Recommended Use:

Adults – As a dietary supplement, take one capsule three times per day before meals or as recommended by your health care practitioner.

  • Chlorogenic acid has been long proven to stimulate the metabolism, thus aiding in weight loss. It helps the body release lipolytic enzymes, which are a key factor in breaking down fatty acids in stored fat and converting them into energy. Chlorogenic acid also disrupts fat reabsorption, which means you may be able to lose weight even when you are exercising less. Another way green coffee bean extract works to help you lose weight is with the caffeine found in it. Caffeine helps to release the fatty acids found in stored fat to then turn it into energy. Caffeine is also a diuretic, which means it is effective in cleansing the colon.

  • Side Effects:

Green coffee bean in itself has no known side effects. However, this supplement does contain caffeine and one may have side effects of this. Side effects include: insomnia, nervousness and restlessness, stomach upset, nausea and vomiting, increased heart and breathing rate, and other side effects. Consuming large amounts of coffee might also cause headache, anxiety, agitation, ringing in the ears, and irregular heartbeats.

    Risk Information/Interactions:

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, abstain from taking this supplement unless advised by a medical practitioner. Consuming a high dose of chlorogenic acid might cause abnormally high levels of plasma homocysteine, which may be associated with conditions such as heart disease. There are no known interactions with green coffee bean extract
